We greatly enjoyed its nice and absolutely perfect location.
The rooms were immaculate, brand-new, came with an iron, tea plus beautiful fresh bedding. Location: the hotel was not far from restaurant and Kirkcudbright-Over-and-above normal service. It also was easy to stay on the way to Stranraer for the ferry.

The hotel provides an excellent gluten-free menu, making dining a delight for those with dietary restrictions.
Unfortunately, the bathroom facilities were a bit dated, which detracted from the overall comfort of the stay.

decent stay but needs upgrades
The pub connected to the hotel offered a warm and inviting atmosphere. Staff members were consistently courteous and attentive, providing personalized recommendations for food and activities. My room featured a kettle and complimentary snacks. It really felt cozy and home-like.
The furnishings in my room had seen better days, which slightly impacted the overall experience.

The stay offered clean rooms with ample amenities, such as a kettle and complimentary snacks. Dining featured a satisfying array of options, particularly the curries, really good. The lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms was inconvenient, and some areas could benefit from refurbishment. The room temperature fluctuated.

Conveniently located, my room was comfy and clean. A lovely little welcome basket. Oh, and the shower? Pure bliss with hot, powerful water!
It got rather toasty in there-fancy a sauna instead of a bedroom? Plus, a garden chair indoors made me question my life choices!
